Directions to Schulenburg, Texas from each direction

Directions from the west:  The nearest towns to the west are Flatonia and Engle.

If you want to come in on US 90, exiting in Engle is your best bet (Exit 668).  Take a right at the exit, go to Highway 90, then take a left.  You'll reach Schulenburg in about 6-7 minutes.  This route is great if you're heading south from Schulenburg, but there are no gas stations this way, if that's a concern.  This way is fine for an RV, but if you're heading south, you'd want to make sure to take Loop 222 to avoid the underpass (height 13' 8") on US 77.

If you're coming straight to (or staying in) Schulenburg, you can come straight in to Exit 674 on Interstate 10.  If you're in an RV, Pilot Truck Stop is just on the northeast side of that intersection - you can't miss it.  Pilot has a Taco Bell, and if you turn right on 77 (going south under the interstate), you'll see Whataburger on the left and Dairy Queen on the right.  Of the two, Whataburger has the biggest parking lot.

Directions from the east:  The nearest town to the east is Weimar (I-10 Exit 682). There's a Love's Truck Stop there if you want to fuel up.
